Identity Revealed
For any of the insatiably curious out there, the objects of our reflective moment were the shells, or "tests", of sea urchins. Sea urchins can be found in tidepools here in Maine. These animals have spines that they use to protect themselves with, hundreds of legs with suction cups on the ends to cling to rocks with, and a mouth with 5 scraping teeth, which is sometimes called Aristotle's lantern. Go to your nearest tidepool and find one today!
